Refund &
Cancellation.
This is a starting template, not legal advice. It was drafted to get the studio launched and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before going live. Anything in [brackets] is a placeholder for the business owner to complete.
We want you to love your hair and your haul. This policy explains returns and refunds for NourishLocz products and the rules for studio booking deposits. It works alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Products (NourishLocz)
- Return window. You may request a return within [RETURN WINDOW, e.g. 30 days] of delivery.
- Condition. Because these are hair- and scalp-care products, we can only accept returns of items that are unopened and unused, for hygiene and safety. A defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item is always eligible for a replacement or refund.
- Refund method. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe. Allow [PROCESSING TIME, e.g. 5–10 business days] for it to appear.
- Return shipping.Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item was defective or our error. [ADJUST IF YOU OFFER PREPAID LABELS.]
2. Shipping charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where an item was defective or shipped in error. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we’ll make it right.
3. Studio booking deposits
- Deposit. Appointments require a 25% deposit, applied to your service total; the balance is paid at the studio.
- Refundable up to 48 hours before. Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment and your deposit is fully refunded (or moved to the new date).
- Inside 48 hours. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment forfeit the deposit, which compensates for the reserved chair time.
- No-shows. Missing an appointment without notice forfeits the deposit. Repeated no-shows may require full pre-payment to book again.
- Late arrivals. Arriving more than [GRACE PERIOD, e.g. 15 minutes] late may mean a shortened service or a reschedule (treated as a within-48-hour change).
4. How to request a refund or cancellation
- Appointments. Cancel or reschedule from your account, or contact the studio. Eligible deposit refunds are returned to your original payment method.
- Products. Email hello@zrootsandradiance.comwith your order number and the reason for the return, and we’ll send next steps.
